A Vocation of Care: Bringing New Life to the Stones of Our Past

​I’ve always been drawn to cemeteries. Not in a somber or morbid way, but with a deep sense of respect and curiosity. For me, they are outdoor museums, living libraries of local history, and final resting places for the stories of our communities. Perth County and the surrounding areas of Southwestern Ontario are rich with these sacred spaces, and I’ve spent countless hours walking through them, reading the names, the dates, and the epitaphs etched in stone.

​But on these walks, I started to notice something that weighed on me: the disrepair. Time and the elements had taken their toll. Gravestones were leaning, covered in years of biological growth, and losing the very details that told a person's story. It was clear that these important pieces of our history needed help. They needed a dedicated and respectful hand to preserve them for future generations.

​That's the moment the idea for Eternal Care Stone Services was born. My passion for history and my desire to help preserve it became a vocation. I founded this business with a simple mission: to provide professional, gentle, and effective care for headstones and monuments.

​At Eternal Care Stone Services, we specialize in a range of services designed to restore and protect these precious memorials:

​Professional Headstone Cleaning: We use only industry-approved, gentle cleaning methods to remove lichen, moss, mold, and other stains without causing damage to the stone.

​Preventative Maintenance: We offer ongoing care plans to help maintain the beauty of a headstone and prevent future decay.

Gravesite Landscaping - weeding, trimming, planting, watering.

​Our Service Area:

​We are proud to serve communities throughout Southwestern Ontario. We have a special focus on Perth County and are pleased to offer FREE estimates for all services within the county. For those outside of Perth County, we provide estimates for a nominal fee of $25, which will be applied to your final bill upon scheduling a service.
