The Promise of a New Day: Chasing Sunrises and Progress

ree

There’s a certain magic to a Sunday morning. The world feels a little quieter, the air is a little softer, and the early light of dawn promises a fresh start. Sunrises and mornings, in general, have always been my favorite part of the day. They hold a sense of possibility, a clean slate, and the undeniable feeling that progress is about to be made. It’s a feeling I’ve carried with me into my journey with Eternal Care Stone Services.

And I’m happy to report that this feeling of forward momentum is stronger than ever.

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of growth and exciting new developments for the business. I’ve gone from a passionate idea to a legitimate enterprise, and the tangible signs of progress are everywhere. My business cards have arrived, and holding them in my hand for the first time was an incredibly proud moment. It’s a small detail, but it makes everything feel so much more real.

The outreach efforts have also begun in earnest. I’ve started contacting the local counties, townships, churches, and cemeteries—the very places that hold the history I'm so eager to preserve. The reception has been overwhelmingly positive, and I’m finding that so many people share my passion for caring for our historic memorials.

I’m particularly thrilled to share a couple of big updates:

Business Directory Listings: Eternal Care Stone Services is now officially listed on the St. Marys and Perth County business directories! This is a huge step in building a local presence and making it easier for people to find me when they need my services.

Perth County Website Interview: I was contacted for an interview to be featured on the Perth County website. It’s an amazing opportunity to share my story and mission with a wider audience, and I can't wait to share the finished piece with you all.

To top it all off, I’ve recently received another couple of requests for estimates. Each one is a new opportunity to make a difference, and each one fills me with gratitude and excitement for the work ahead.

As I sit here, watching the sun climb into the sky, I’m reminded that life is good. The journey of building this business has been challenging, but it’s also been incredibly rewarding. It’s a privilege to do work that I love, and to know that with every new day, I’m a little closer to helping others honor their own family's history. Thank you for following along and being a part of this journey.
